Our original recipes were once served up at the Bavarian Court and offer everyone the chance to live and eat like a king whilst enjoying traditional Bavarian hospitality. It goes without saying that our wide-ranging menus also cater for lovers of light Mediterranean cuisine.

“The Ludwig” also provides plenty of variety when it comes to your selection of preferred restaurant. Choose from our Hotel Restaurant, our separate family restaurant or our cosy tiled stove dining room known as the Rott Valley Room. All three will provide you with warm and heartfelt hospitality.

We also enjoy serving up culinary delights on our terraces. A sunlit morning breakfast from 7.00 am or a candlelit dinner will provide an unforgettable holiday experience. “The Ludwig” offers exclusivity and will make sure that you are not disturbed.

Heuriger Wine Tavern

Those seeking a more convivial evening will find the “Heuriger”, a typical Austrian style wine tavern located at “The Ludwig”, to be the perfect venue. The “Heuriger” serves up Bavarian and Austrian specialities accompanied by appropriate wines. Changing daily specials include such menus as suckling pig, duck, pork knuckle, game dishes, schnitzel and Alpine delights.

Our Dine Around programme makes half-board a thing of the past. Dine Around provides you with the freedom to make your own dinner arrangements on a daily basis and choose from a diverse range of restaurants located at all the exclusive Hartl Resort hotels and estates. The diversity of our resort is our strength and the key to your pleasure.
