Our restaurants at the Hotel Maximilian are open from early in the morning till late in the evening to cater for your needs. You can tuck into a lavish luxury breakfast buffet, enjoy snacks throughout the day in our café or sit down to lunch in the Maximilian Stuben restaurant. For our health-conscious guests, who like to watch what they eat, the Hotel Maximilian provides a daily Health & Energy menu. Maximilian Stuben

Choose from a range of delicious local and seasonal specialities on our varied menu or, alternatively, enjoy one of our many themed buffet nights. If you are holidaying alone, you are welcome to join our communal table where there is never any shortage of interesting people to talk to. You will be amazed at our Head Chef’s culinary expertise – he never fails to impress with food of the highest quality.

Brunch

What better way to start a Sunday than to relax with one of our delicious brunches? Served from 11.30 am right through until 2 pm in the luxurious surroundings of the Maximilian Stuben, this is a culinary treat not to be missed. Price includes all hot drinks, fruit juices from the buffet and a welcome glass of champagne!

Why not join us on a Friday evening from 6.30 – 9.30 pm when we lay on a sumptuous fish buffet in the Maximilian Stuben? You will love the wide array of river and sea fish dishes on offer!

Ferrara

We know you will not be able to resist sampling the variety of exquisite dishes which our chef and his team produce, so why not book yourself a table in our à la carte Restaurant Ferrara? All dishes are prepared fresh every day using the very best seasonal produce from the region.

MAX Bar

If you are looking for a great way to round off your day why not come along to the MAX Bar for some relaxing music – the perfect way to wind down. And while you enjoy the music, why not try one of the many cocktails in our barkeeper’s extensive repertoire or linger over a glass of one of our excellent wines?

Café MAX

Café MAX, decorated in attractive, colonial style, is definitely the place to be during the day. Sit back and watch the comings and goings in the Maximilian Hotel, go up onto the cafe/bistro’s terrace and enjoy the view of Bad Griesbach or, if you prefer, just relax with your favourite Italian coffee ... and maybe a cake.

Dine Around

Fancy adding a bit of variety to your life? Heard of our ‘culinary tour’, also known as the “Dine Around”? It is a novel idea whereby you get the opportunity to dine in a different Hartl resort restaurant every day – and it is all included in your meal package. You can choose to eat at one of the country-house restaurants in Brunnwies, Penning, Sagmühle or Uttlau, in the Fürstenhof or Ludwig hotels, or you could even try the zum Heurigen restaurant which serves specialities from Bavaria and Austria. With such an amazing choice of places to eat, you can look forward to a dining experience which is truly unique!

Just let us know in advance which restaurant you will be dining in so that we can make the necessary reservation for you.

Meal packages

Meals are included in our package deals. Our half-board option offers you a 4-course gourmet menu with a choice of dishes (including some for the more calorie-conscious) or you may like to sample what is on offer at one of our many themed buffets.
