The 9-hole courses at the Hartl Resort Bad Griesbach: short but not to be underestimated

The "Engled", "Jagl" and "Pfeiffer" courses.

The Golfodrom® (where the Golf Academy is based) is the very heart of the Hartl Golf Resort Bad Griesbach and provides an immediate opportunity for you to put what you have learned into practice or improve the precision of your game on the three adjacent 9-hole courses. These facilities complement the overall concept of the Golfodrom® and are an ideal stress-free environment for beginners (with a German Golf Association basic handicap and course etiquette certificate) seeking to prepare themselves for their first rounds on an 18-hole course.

Unlike the "Jagl" and the "Pfeiffer", the "Engled" Course does not consist entirely of Par 3 holes. And anyone who thinks that the three "shorties" at the resort are only for beginners should think again. The precision required to hit the green from distances of between 80 and 215 yards is often crucial to a better score. To this degree, the extended facilities at the Golfodrom® are stimulating and interesting for players of all abilities.

Non-members simply pay their green fee at reception in the Golfodrom®. Two minutes later you will be standing on the first tee. It's as simple as that. No starting times are required. All you need to do is to decide which of the 9-hole courses you feel like playing.

The Pfeiffer Golf Course at the Hartl Resort: ideal for your short game

The "Pfeiffer" is the 9-hole course which has the shortest holes, measuring between 82 and 152 yards. This course is mainly reserved for the use of the pros and pupils at the Bad Griesbach Golf Academy and provides an ideal opportunity to train "for the real thing".

The Jagl Golf Course at the Hartl Resort: not to be underestimated

The "Jagl" also comprises Par 3's only, although the holes here are slightly longer and not always easy. Some areas of the course slope sharply up and down, and water hazards and bunkers are also included. Great accuracy is required even at the shortest hole of 62 yards. The longest and most exciting hole measures 213 yards and requires a tee shot over a waiting pond onto the green.

The Engled Golf Course at the Hartl Resort: the longest of the short courses

The third of the 9-hole courses goes by the name of "Engled" and contains six Par 3 holes and three Par 4's. Some good shots will be needed from a range of situations and distances to achieve a good score. "Engled" is the most demanding of the resort's trio of 9-hole courses and has for a number of years been used to carry out the test of golfing ability which German golfers have to undergo before they are issued with a German Golf Association basic handicap and course etiquette certificate.
